I have heard a lot of great things about Mark's custom tune from the VW TDI crowd, so I was pretty excited to see what he could do for the 1.8t. My 2003 jetta is completely stock for now, and with the flexibility tha Mark offers, I thought this was by far the best route. After I installed the 93oct tune Mark provided, all that I can say is wow! The power is greatly increased, and very smooth delivery. Passing slower traffic on the interstate is no problem in 5th gear. The car drives just like stock going through town, but will easily break the tires loose if you let it get away from you. I've run about a full tank of gas through the car in the past week since I loaded the tune. It doesn't seem to have affected my fuel economy around town at all, and no negative effect worth mentioning at highway speeds. The car is a lot of fun to drive now, and I am looking forward to changes to come as I add more to the car. The flashzilla is very easy to use, and can read and clear check engine lights on your car. (Actually works for both my VW's. 2003 1.8t, and 2004 VR6 GTI) It took only about 5 minutes to load the program to my ECU. Mark is great to deal with and I would highly recommend this tune to anybody.

I have a 00 TDI Bug that would not run, I had it in three different shops and know one could make it smoke. I sent it to the VW dealership and they wanted to replace the ECM and the Instrument cluster to the tune of $4800, and they did not know if that would fix it or not. I searched a TDI forum and found one of Malone`s former customers and he directed me to Mark and I no longer have a problem with this car. I pulled the ECM out and sent it to mark and for a small fee, he did away with the problem. Great people to deal with AAAAA+
