Immobilizer Delete or SKC/PIN Retrieval

The ECU (engine computer) must be shipped to us to perform this. We will only do immobilizer delete or SKC/PIN retrieval in EDC15 type ECUs, which is typically found in 2000 and newer TDIs. All 1999.5 and older TDIs in North America do not have an immobilizer to begin with.

The ECU (engine computer) must be shipped to us to perform this. If your original ECU was replaced, or if you're swapping into a different vehicle, and you need the ECU's VIN to match your vehicle, then we can gladly help. Immobilizer delete is also available at no extra cost.

Additional Information

The basic act of reading or writing the ECU (engine computer) can leave a fault code in the TCU (automatic transmission computer). Therefore, if you are tuning an automatic transmission car, it is necessary in some cases to clear code in the TCU using a scan tool like VCDS, or any local auto shop should have one. If there is a code and if you do not clear it, then you will not be able to drive past 3rd gear.


Eco Tune


Adds 1-3 MPG with NO loss in power. Actually mildly increases low-RPM torque. Includes Dynamic EGR (off-road). Dynamic Idle and EGR delete are also available at no extra charge.


Stage 0


For industrial applications or for those who simply want to run the engine without a turbocharger (to simplify engine swaps or to eliminate the cost of a replacement turbo).


Stage 1 +20HP +34 TQ


This is the most powerful tune you can get if everything else in your vehicle is stock. It’s designed to fully utilize stock injectors that have limited fuel flow to begin with. Not safe to use with upgraded fueling hardware. This tune also brings better fuel economy (higher MPG) than the Eco tune. This is a really great low-cost tune with a very noticeable power improvement!


Stage 1.5 +32 HP +34 TQ


Take advantage of upgraded fuel injector nozzles while preserving the stock clutch. The peak torque is similar to Stage 1, but you gain more horsepower in the mid-high RPM range. The condition of original/stock clutches vary depending on mileage and treatment so clutch preservation after tuning cannot be guaranteed.


Stage 2 "Torque Bliss" +32 HP +74 TQ


* North American TDIs equipped with a factory Luk clutch may not require a clutch upgrade. Applies to pre-2000 TDI models.


Stage 3 +40 HP +75 TQ

Stage 3 Custom


Power results vary depending on your requirements. VCDS logging is required if you are seeking maximum power without compromising reliability. If you just want Stage 1, 2, or 3 with Dynamic Idle or/and Dynamic EGR, then the Stage 3 Custom applies.


Stage 4 – VNT-17 Turbo Upgrade +60HP +115TQ

The VNT-17 is a common replacement turbo because of its robustness and affordable price. This tune appeals to those who are not planning a clutch upgrade.
