1.9L ALH TDI
1998–2003
The 1.9L ALH is the classic North-American VE TDI, found in the 1998-2003 Jetta, Golf and New Beetle. It flashes over OBD and takes tuning extremely well - the most popular TDI we tune.

1.9L AHU / 1Z VE TDI (early)
1996–1999
The early 1.9L VE TDIs - AHU, 1Z and their relatives - power countless swaps and conversions. Their pre-2000 ECUs are not OBD-flashable, so a one-time ECU socketing lets us load a full Malone tune.

1.9L BEW PD TDI
2004–2006
The 1.9L BEW is the Pumpe-Düse (PD) 1.9 TDI in the 2004-2006 Mk4 Jetta, Golf and New Beetle. Strong low-end torque and a great tuning platform on the stock turbo.

1.9L BRM PD TDI
2005.5–2006
The 1.9L BRM is the PD TDI in the 2005.5-2006 North-American Jetta. Its round-port intake manifold is a sought-after upgrade for other 1.9 TDIs, and it responds well to a full tuning ladder.

2.0L BHW PD TDI
2004–2005
The 2.0L BHW is the Pumpe-Düse TDI in the 2004-2005 B5.5 Passat - the only 2.0 PD sold in North America. Automatic cars can be recoded to manual as part of a tune.

2.0L Common-Rail TDI
2009–2015
The 2.0L Common-Rail TDI (CBEA, CJAA, CKRA and the 2015 EA288) powers the 2009-2015 Golf, Jetta, Beetle and Passat. It is the engine behind our Stage 4 round-port turbo kit that retains the full emissions system.

3.0L V6 TDI
2009–2020
The 3.0L V6 TDI powers the VW Touareg and Audi Q7, Q5, A6, A7 and A8. Beyond strong Stage 1-2 gains, several years support big-turbo Stage 3 builds.

1.8T (VAG 20V)
2000–2019
The 1.8T 20V turbo - from the Mk4 Golf and Jetta, B5/B6 A4 and Mk1 TT through the modern 1.8T TSI - is one of the most tunable VAG petrol engines, with octane-specific Stage 1 to Stage 3 calibrations.

2.0T FSI (EA113)
2005–2009
The EA113 2.0T FSI powers the 2005-2009 Mk5 GTI and GLI, 8P A3 and B7 A4 - a strong, well-understood platform that responds well from a Stage 1 flash up to bigger-turbo builds.

2.0T TSI (EA888)
2009–2024
The EA888 2.0T TSI is the modern VAG performance four-cylinder - GTI, Golf R, Jetta GLI, A3, S3 and TT - across Gen 1 through the EVO4. We cover it from Stage 1 to big-turbo Stage 3 (IS38 and larger).

2016–2020
The 2.5L TFSI five-cylinder powers the Audi RS3 and TT RS - a turbocharged icon with serious tuning potential.

2007–2021
The 3.0 TFSI V6 - supercharged and, later, turbocharged - powers the Audi S4, S5, A6, A7, Q5 and SQ5, with strong, smooth gains across the range.
